Carbon Rim Construction

The C36 rim is built from carbon fibre with an outer width of 28mm and an inner width of 21mm, giving it a modern wide profile that suits contemporary tubeless tyre widths from 25mm to 32mm. The 36mm rim depth delivers genuine aerodynamic gains while keeping the overall wheel weight low for responsive acceleration and confident climbing. The rim is fully tubeless-compatible, allowing you to run lower pressures for improved comfort and grip without sacrificing rolling efficiency.

Hub & Spoke System

The rear hub is built around a 12 x 142mm thru-axle standard, delivering the lateral stiffness needed to get the most from disc brakes. The Centre Lock rotor interface allows quick, tool-assisted rotor changes. The Shimano HG Spline L freehub body is constructed from steel for long-term durability under high drivetrain loads, and is compatible with Shimano 11-speed and 12-speed Road cassettes as well as most Shimano/SRAM 8–11-speed options. Twenty-four bladed, butted straight-pull spokes are laced in a 2-cross pattern and tensioned with aluminium nipples, combining lateral stiffness with a degree of vertical compliance for endurance comfort.

Compatibility & Fit

Designed for road bikes with 12mm rear thru-axle dropout spacing of 142mm. Requires a Centre Lock disc rotor (sold separately) and a Shimano-compatible lockring tool for installation. Works with Shimano 11-speed and 12-speed Road cassettes (HG Spline), as well as 8/9/10-speed Shimano/SRAM cassettes.
