Hydraulic Performance

Shimano's SERVOWAVE technology is engineered to maximise control across the full lever stroke. Rather than a linear response, SERVOWAVE rapidly moves the pads to the rotor with minimal lever movement, then increases mechanical advantage so that the remainder of the stroke translates into powerful, modulated braking. The lever uses Shimano mineral oil — chosen for its stability across temperature ranges and its compatibility with Shimano's sealed hydraulic system.

Compatibility & Fit

Right-hand lever (rear brake / right-hand shifting, Australian setup). Compatible with Shimano 11-speed road rear derailleurs and Shimano hydraulic road disc brake callipers (flat mount or IS mount with adapter).
