What it does
The TL-HB017 is the dedicated bearing removal tool for Shimano's newest mountain bike hubs. It seats on the hub axle so the load is applied squarely, letting you press the axle and cartridge bearing out together rather than improvising with drifts that can mar the bearing bore.
How to use
Fit the TL-HB017 onto the hub axle, then strike it with a soft-face mallet to drive out the axle, bearing and seal ring. Always work on a clean bench and follow the relevant Shimano dealer manual for your hub.
