The Shimano SW-R671-L is a Di2 electronic remote shift switch designed for time trial and triathlon riders who demand precise, effortless gear changes from the aero position. Mounted at the end of your aero bar extension, this left-side unit puts two-button control of both your front and rear derailleur at your fingertips — so you never have to leave your aerodynamic tuck to shift.

Design & Integration

The SW-R671-L uses Shimano's EW-SD50 E-Tube wire protocol to integrate seamlessly into your Di2 network. The single SD50 port connects directly to your junction or junction A, while the built-in wire handles the routing through your aero extensions. Button functions are fully customisable via Shimano's E-TUBE PROJECT app, allowing you to remap which button controls which derailleur to suit your preference.

Compatibility & Fit

Compatible with Shimano Di2 10-speed and 11-speed road systems, including Dura-Ace 9070, Ultegra Di2 6870, and Ultegra Di2 6770. Not compatible with Dura-Ace 7970 Di2 (older E-Tube generation) or any 12-speed Di2 system. Sold as a single left-side unit — pair with the SW-R671-R for full TT/triathlon cockpit control. Requires E-Tube SD50 junction system (EW-90A or similar) for installation.
