Compatibility & Fit
The Shimano STEPS DU-EP500 is supplied as an individual pack for OEM and replacement use. It is compatible with disc brakes, V-brakes, roller brakes, and coaster brakes, and requires a Shimano STEPS-compatible battery and display (such as the SC-EN610). Consult your bike manufacturer or Shimano dealer to confirm frame compatibility and crank/chainline requirements before installation. Supplied without crank arms or chainring — sourced separately.
Shimano warrants this product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 2 years from the date of original purchase. This warranty applies to the original purchaser and covers manufacturing defects only. It does not cover damage resulting from accident, misuse, neglect, modification, unsuitable physical or operating environment, or improper maintenance. Normal wear and tear is excluded.
