The BT-EN606 is built for Shimano's 2nd Generation STEPS ecosystem. It pairs with the DU-EP801 and DU-EP600 (EP6 Cues) motor units, and requires the BM-EN600 battery holder for frame mounting (sold separately). The refined battery management system communicates directly with the STEPS motor and display to provide accurate range data and protect cell integrity under varying load conditions.

Not compatible with 1st Generation STEPS systems (BT-E8010, BT-E8014, BT-E8016, or systems using mounting trays) or with DU-EP8, E6000, E7000, or E8000 series motor units. Where two batteries are used on one bike, use identical battery models for optimum compatibility.
