The included BR-RX810 flat-mount caliper arrives pre-bled with a 1700mm hose — the extra length accommodates most gravel frame routing without needing to cut or extend. Shimano's SERVOWAVE technology progressively increases mechanical advantage as the lever is pulled, so light finger pressure delivers controlled modulation before transitioning to powerful stopping. The caliper's ICE Technology fins and ceramic pistons manage heat effectively on long descents, while the L03A resin pads balance stopping power with rotor longevity.
