Wireless gravel shifting

The ST-RX715 Di2 lever shifts your rear derailleur wirelessly using Shimano's Di2 electronic platform. Two shift buttons on the lever can be remapped via the E-TUBE PROJECT app. The lever runs on two CR1632 coin-cell batteries that are easy to replace and provide a long service life. There is no satellite shifter port or hood button on this model.

Hydraulic disc braking

The BR-RX410 is a two-piston flat-mount caliper using Shimano mineral oil for consistent feel and easy maintenance. One-way bleeding keeps the hydraulic system simple to service — a funnel tool and mineral oil is all it takes. The SM-BH90 hose is included in the kit, and the J-Kit hose joint makes trimming and routing straightforward. Resin L05A-RF pads with a finned backplate are fitted as standard for gravel-appropriate heat management.

Ergonomics for gravel

The ST-RX715 hood shape is designed for drop handlebars used on gravel and cyclocross bikes, including flared bars. A raised hood head prevents hand slippage on rough terrain, and a recessed finger notch provides additional grip security. The higher brake lever axis and curved lever path give confident control whether you are riding from the hoods or the drops.

Compatibility & Fit

This is the right-hand lever and front caliper configured for a 160 mm rotor. In an Australian setup the right lever operates the front brake. The lever is compatible with Shimano Road Di2 and GRX Di2 wireless rear derailleurs and is designed for 12-speed drivetrains. The caliper uses flat-mount fitting and the bracket for a 160 mm rotor is pre-assembled. The SM-BH90 hydraulic hose (1700 mm) and mineral oil are included. CR1632 shifter batteries (×2) are included. Rotor and handlebar tape are not included.
