GRX is Shimano's first component series designed exclusively for gravel cycling. Construction

The FC-RX600-2 uses cold-forged aluminium alloy crank arms with an anodised finish. The asymmetric four-arm spider runs a 110mm BCD for the 46T outer ring and an 80mm BCD for the 30T inner, keeping the chainrings close to the centreline of the drivetrain. The 24mm Hollowtech II steel spindle is integrated into the right-hand crank arm, threading into the left arm for installation with a Shimano-compatible outboard bottom bracket.
