Dura-Ace Di2 Wireless Technology

The ST-R9270 uses Shimano's semi-wireless Di2 architecture: the lever communicates wirelessly via Bluetooth Low Energy to the rear derailleur (RD-R9250) and front derailleur (FD-R9250), eliminating the need for shift wires along the frame. Full shifting customisation — including Synchro-Shift, Semi-Synchro-Shift, and Multi-Shift — is managed through the Shimano E-Tube Project app.

Servo Wave Hydraulic Braking

Shimano's Servo Wave Action cam geometry progressively increases the mechanical advantage as the lever is pulled, delivering instant pad contact followed by a powerful, controllable braking zone. The result is greater confidence on technical descents and in wet conditions, with a consistent lever feel throughout the braking range. This is the right lever only (controls rear brake and front/rear shifting in Australia's standard right-front / left-rear brake convention — note: in Australian setup the right lever actuates the front brake; confirm your preferred setup before ordering). Compatible with Shimano Dura-Ace R9200 and Ultegra R8100 Di2 groupsets. Pairs with BR-R9270 flat-mount caliper and SM-BH90-JK-SSR hose kit (sold separately).
