Construction

The HB-7600-R features a high-flange aluminium hub shell with a large-diameter flange design that has become iconic in track cycling. The cup-and-cone bearing system uses Shimano's Borozon-treated races paired with stainless steel ball bearings — a combination renowned for smooth, low-friction rolling that can be precisely adjusted and easily serviced in the field.

Double-Sided Threading

This variant features threading on both sides of the hub shell, commonly known as a flip-flop configuration. Install a fixed cog and lockring on each side with different gearing ratios, and simply flip your rear wheel to change between them — ideal for training versatility or adapting to different track conditions without carrying a spare wheel.

Compatibility & Fit

Designed for track (fixed-gear) use. O.L.D. (over-locknut dimension): 120mm. Axle diameter: 10mm, compatible with standard track dropouts. Spoke hole count: 28H. Double-sided threading accepts standard 1/8" track cogs and lockrings. Not compatible with cassette freehubs or freewheel threading. Supplied with lockring and track nuts.
