Sold without chainring, it pairs with your choice of STEPS-compatible ring to suit your terrain — making it ideal for builds, replacements, or custom e-MTB setups. At 165mm, these shorter arms deliver improved ground clearance and reduce the chance of pedal strike on technical singletrack.

STEPS E-MTB Platform

The FC-M8050 is purpose-built for Shimano STEPS e-bike systems and works with the E6000, E6100, and E7000 series drive units. Note: these crank arms are not compatible with the EP8 or EP800 STEPS platforms. The 24mm axle serration is specific to STEPS motor units and will not fit standard threaded or press-fit bottom brackets.

Chainring Options

Sold as a bare crank arm set without chainring. Compatible STEPS chainrings are available separately in 32T, 34T, 36T, and 38T options, including the SM-CRE80 and CR-EM800 series. Chainring is required before use.

Compatible with Shimano STEPS drive units: DU-E6000, DU-E6100, DU-E6110, DU-E7000. Q-factor: 177mm (with DU-E8000); 180mm (with DU-E6100 / E6110 / E7000). Crank arm length: 165mm. Material: aluminium. Not compatible with DU-EP8 or DU-EP800. Chainring not included — must be purchased separately.
