A complete two-piston front brake from Deore

Deore is where Shimano's serious mountain brake performance starts. This kit pairs the BL-M6200 lever with the two-piston BR-M6200 calliper on a 1000 mm hose, giving you strong, well-modulated braking with the light lever feel that SERVO WAVE is built for.

Power you can meter out

SERVO WAVE moves the pads to the rotor quickly from the first part of the lever stroke, then gives you a longer, more controllable range to modulate through. The two-piston design keeps weight down and makes that modulation the priority.

Stable when it gets hot

A new piston seal, a heat-resistant resin piston and low-viscosity oil work together to keep lever feel consistent on long descents rather than going vague as temperatures climb.

Compatibility and fit

Front brake set for a post-mount fork. No mount adapter is supplied, so check what your fork and rotor size require. A matching rotor is needed and is not part of this kit. The hose comes at 1000 mm and is trimmed to length on fitting, which means a bleed after installation — Tune Cycles can fit and bleed it for you. Note the Australian convention followed here: the right lever operates the front brake.
