Performance & Design

The BR-M6120 caliper is built from aluminium with ceramic pistons, paired with D03S resin pads as standard. The dual-diameter opposed-piston design generates high clamping force while quick piston retraction keeps drag minimal when the lever is released. The BL-M6100 lever features an additional handlebar contact point that stiffens the clamp assembly for a more direct, responsive feel under hard braking.

Compatibility & Fit

The BR-M6120 caliper uses a post-mount standard and is compatible with rotors from 140mm to 203mm (Shimano SM-RT54, SM-RT56, SM-RT64, SM-RT66 recommended). The BL-M6100 lever fits standard 22.2mm MTB handlebar clamp diameter. This J-Kit is configured with a left lever for the rear brake and includes a 1700mm SM-BH90-SS hose (straight connection). Brake fluid: Shimano mineral oil. Compatible with Shimano Deore M6100 series components and Shimano EP8/EP800 and EP6 eBike systems. Standard ICE-Tech pads are not compatible with this caliper.
