LinkGlide was developed specifically for the extra torque that e-bikes and heavily loaded bikes place on the drivetrain. The thicker, more durable sprocket teeth are designed to wear far more slowly than standard Hyperglide cogs, so the cassette holds crisp shifting performance for longer.

Compatibility & fit

This cassette is LinkGlide-only and must be paired with a LinkGlide-compatible rear derailleur and shifter to function correctly; it will not shift properly with standard Hyperglide road or MTB systems. It fits a standard Shimano HG (Hyperglide) freehub body and is compatible with LinkGlide and HG 11-speed chains (for example CN-LG500 or HG-X11). Confirm your derailleur and shifter are LinkGlide units before fitting.
