It uses Shimano mineral oil and accepts a range of pad compounds — including resin finned (N03A-RF), resin without fin (D03S-RX), metal finned (N04C-MF), and metal without fin (D02S-MX) — giving riders flexibility to tune feel and heat management for their conditions. The calliper is compatible with rotors from 140 mm through to 220 mm with the appropriate adapter.
