The Airway is built around airflow. A ventilated mesh upper lets heat escape so your hands stay cooler and drier through summer rides and harder efforts, while the close anatomical fit keeps everything in place.

The synthetic suede palm gives a tactile, secure hold on the bars and hoods, and strategically placed padding absorbs vibration and road shock to ward off fatigue and numbness on longer rides.
Natural anatomical fit
Shimano's original three-piece palm construction and ergonomic finger crotch follow the natural shape of the hand to reduce bunching and pressure points. A soft wiping surface on the thumb is handy for clearing sweat on the move.
