When you need it

Shimano's standard shift inners in this range are 2100 mm, with a 2500 mm option. The 3000 mm inner covers tandems and other long frames in one piece, so there's no need to compromise on routing.

Compatibility and fit

For Shimano indexed shifters and derailleurs. Measure the full route before ordering, and fit fresh shift casing along the whole run, as a long cable magnifies any friction from worn housing. Re-check tension after the first few rides as the new cable beds in.

Covered by Shimano's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Inner cables are wear items: fraying, stretch and corrosion in service are not covered. This cover is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
