Built for big days out. The Trig Point Edition is Danny MacAskill's take on the Bel-Air V3 MAX, the version of SDG's classic designed with performance e-MTBs and long climbs in mind, finished with a subtle graphic that honours the summits and trails close to his Scottish home.

Bel-Air V3 MAX

SDG designed the V3 MAX as a light, compact upgrade for performance e-MTBs that lets you climb and ride longer without giving up comfort. An extra rear rise gives support when seated, the injection EVA foam is 5mm thicker than the standard V3, and the deep peri-canal relieves pressure through the middle. A nylon glass base with bridge transfers power, Free Float Comfort Flex adds give at the wings, and the wider nose helps on climbs. Atmos Sealed Construction does away with staples and bumpers on the base, and the corners are sonic-welded for durability.

The CAST collection

Trig points once marked survey summits; for Danny they mark the top of a hard climb and the start of the ride down. CAST was formed by gravity athletes, engineers and designers, with input from riders including Danny, Greg Minnaar and Kriss Kyle.

Compatibility & fit

The saddle has Lux-Alloy rails. SDG doesn't list the rail diameter on the product page, so if your seatpost uses a rail-specific clamp, ask us to check it first. SDG lists it for trail and enduro riding. Fitting is a separate workshop service if you'd like us to set saddle height and angle.
