The R8.T is Scope's 85mm deep triathlon and time trial wheelset, built on the Artech 8.T rim profile for stable, aerodynamic speed at a claimed 1735g.

Built on the Artech 8.T

Scope derives this wheel from its Artech 8.T, which it says has been chosen by Ironman champions and UCI WorldTour teams. The Race version uses the same proven rim profile without the Artech's Aeroscales.

Race Series technology

Scope shapes its rims with Algorithm Enhanced Aerodynamics (AEA) and uses Local Reinforcement, adding carbon layers only around the spoke holes, to cut weight while keeping strength and stiffness. The Scope Tubeless System is designed for easy mounting, direct inflation and long-lasting pressure.

R-Series hubs

The rear hub uses Scope's 36T Diamond Ratchet engagement, and the R-Series hubs use a mechanical labyrinth seal to keep dirt out.

Compatibility & fit

Disc brake only, with Centerlock rotor mounts and 12 x 100mm front / 12 x 142mm rear thru-axles. Choose a Shimano HG freehub body for Shimano road cassettes or SRAM XDR for SRAM XDR cassettes. The hooked rims take tubeless and clincher tyres; Scope's optimum tyre width is 28mm. Wheel fitting, tyre installation and set-up are separate Tune Cycles workshop services and are not included.

Scope provides a limited three-year warranty on its Race and Sport series wheels against manufacturing and material defects. It covers the original purchaser and is activated by registering the product with Scope within 30 working days of purchase. Wear parts such as rim tape, freehub bodies, pawls, springs, bearings and decals are excluded, as is damage from crashes, impacts, improper use or incorrect assembly. Scope also runs a separate lifetime crash replacement programme. For warranty support, return the product to Tune Cycles and we'll manage the claim with the brand's Australian distributor.
