The RockShox Recon Silver RL is a reliable, easy-to-use 27.5" fork that gives trail and hardtail riders genuine Solo Air suspension performance at an accessible price point. The RL (Remote Lockout) crown knob lets you lock out the fork for efficient pedalling on smooth sections and release it again when the trail gets rough.

• Solo Air spring — easy to set up and tune via Schrader valve
• Crown-adjust RL lockout for climbing efficiency on the move
• 100mm travel for trail hardtails and light trail bikes
• 42mm offset for stable, confident 27.5" handling
• 1-1/8" straight alloy steerer and 9mm QR axle for broad compatibility

The Recon Silver is designed for riders stepping up from a rigid fork or replacing an entry-level fork on a 27.5" hardtail. Solo Air is RockShox's lightweight air spring system that uses a single Schrader valve for easy pressure adjustment and delivers a noticeably more active feel than basic coil forks at this price.

The crown-adjust rebound lockout (RL) is a simple on/off lockout operated by a knob on the crown. It's not a remote lever system — the knob is reached by hand — which keeps things simple and reliable. Fits frames with a 1-1/8" straight steerer tube and standard 9mm QR dropouts.
