Swaps your bike's thru-axle for a Robert Axle Project trainer axle, so a thru-axle bike can mount on a wheel-on resistance trainer. This one has a true shaft length of 165mm, M12x1.5 thread, and comes with spacers to shorten it to 162mm or 159mm for a narrower dropout spacing.

Highlights

  • 165mm true length, shortens to 162mm (3mm spacer) or 159mm (6mm spacer)
  • M12x1.5 thread
  • 7075 aluminium shaft, hard-anodised
  • Fits with a standard 5mm hex wrench
  • Usable on or off the trainer - remove the drive-side end to ride outside

Compatibility & fit

Fits 12mm thru-axle bikes using an M12x1.5 thread. Thru-axle length is not the same as hub spacing, and axle ends extend roughly 15mm past the frame each side - measure your trainer at its widest setting before ordering. Confirm your bike's exact axle spec with Robert Axle Project's online Axle Finder, or bring the bike to the Tune workshop and we'll measure the existing axle and fit the replacement.

Robert Axle Project's lifetime warranty covers defects in material and workmanship to the original purchaser, for the lifetime of ownership - it excludes misuse, improper installation, accidents and normal wear and tear. For warranty support, return the product to Tune Cycles and we'll manage the claim with Robert Axle Project's Australian distributor. This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, so keep your proof of purchase.
