Attaches a BOB Trailer to a bike with a 12mm thru-axle, replacing the rear axle so you get the rigidity of a thru-axle while hauling. This one is M12x1.0 thread, true shaft length 172mm, and comes with spacers to shorten it to 160mm for a shorter dropout spacing. Robert Axle Project lists it as compatible with SRAM UDH and Transmission frames.

Highlights

  • 12mm diameter, M12x1.0 thread
  • 172mm true length, shortens to 160mm with the included spacers
  • Compatible with SRAM UDH and Transmission
  • 7075 aluminium shaft (hard black anodised), stainless steel ends
  • Installs with a standard 5mm hex wrench

Compatibility & fit

Fits any bike with a 12mm thru-axle (not frame-specific) - use Robert Axle Project's Axle Finder to confirm the exact length and thread your bike needs before ordering, since a wrong-length axle won't seat properly. BOB Trailer "bobbins" aren't included; reuse the ones from your old quick-release skewer or buy a pair separately. The Tune workshop can measure your existing axle and fit the replacement.

Robert Axle Project's lifetime warranty covers defects in material and workmanship to the original purchaser, for the lifetime of ownership - it excludes misuse, neglect, improper installation or maintenance, accident damage and normal wear and tear. For warranty support, return the product to Tune Cycles and we'll manage the claim with Robert Axle Project's Australian distributor. This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, so keep your proof of purchase.
