Caress is Hamax's flagship child seat. The backrest adjusts as your child grows, and a one-hand dial reclines the seat up to 20° so they can nap comfortably on the go. Choose the frame-mounted version with a lockable bracket, or the rack-mounted version with a sprung carrier adapter.

Grows with your child

The sliding backrest keeps the harness at the right height as your child grows. Harness, footrests and recline all work one-handed, the helmet recess keeps your child's head in a natural position, and a rear reflector improves visibility.

Compatibility & fit

Frame version: mounts with four screws and fits bikes with or without a luggage rack; the bracket clicks when locked and shows green indicators when correctly fitted. The seat flexes up to 12 cm on its steel bar, so it must sit high enough never to touch the wheel, mudguard or rack. Rack version: for racks 120–160 mm wide, rated for 27 kg (ISO 11243) with round tubes 10–20 mm thick. Hamax advises against full-suspension and carbon-framed bikes, and recommends your child always wears a helmet. Fitting is a separate Tune Cycles workshop service – book a workshop visit.
