The SRAM Rival eTap AXS Wide Front Derailleur is the wireless electronic front derailleur for Rival AXS 2x gravel builds — designed for wider chainring combinations and the larger tooth-count spreads used in gravel and adventure riding. Same AXS wireless platform as the road version, configured for gravel chainring geometry.

Wide vs standard

The Wide version is configured for larger outer chainring sizes and wider front derailleur cage geometry typical of gravel builds — where a 46/33 or 43/30 combination is more common than road's 50/34. Using the Wide version on a standard road chainring setup, or vice versa, will result in incorrect cage clearance and poor shifting.
