Break-Away travel system

The frame separates at a down tube coupler (5Nm max torque – don't lubricate the clamp or clamping area) and a seatpost-mounted hinge, with the rear brake cable connector and derailleur cable connectors included. It packs into the included travel case (8.5in/21.6cm W x 26.5in/67.3cm H x 31in/78.8cm L with wheels fitted). A torque key for the coupler isn't included.

Frame details

Ritchey's forged-and-machined integrated head tube uses standard drop-in bearings and saves weight over a standard head tube design. The WCS headset (IS42/28.6 upper, 16mm stack height | IS42/30 lower) is included, along with a 68mm English-threaded bottom bracket, a 27.2mm seatpost with integrated collar (6Nm max torque) and a 28.6mm seat tube clamp (2.5Nm max for derailleur clamps and chain guides).

Compatibility & fit

Fits 700x30c tyres (38mm frame spacing, 40mm fork spacing, depending on tyre/rim), single or double chainrings from 30/46T to 39/53T, and standard quick-release wheels front and rear. Available in S, M, L and XL; this listing is size XL. The Tune workshop can check fit and build a Break-Away frameset into a complete bike.

Ritchey covers this product for two years from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship (the Ritchey International warranty, which covers Australia). Normal wear and tear isn't covered. For warranty support, return the product to Tune Cycles and we'll manage the claim with Ritchey's Australian distributor. This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, so keep your proof of purchase.
