Change drivetrains without changing hubs. Race Face makes Vault cassette bodies for Shimano HG, SRAM XD and Shimano Micro Spline cassettes, and every one fits every Vault rear hub.

Highlights

• Fits all Race Face Vault rear hubs
• Shimano HG: Shimano MTB 9, 10, 11-speed and SRAM 9, 10-speed cassettes
• SRAM XD: SRAM 11 and 12-speed cassettes
• Shimano Micro Spline: Shimano 12-speed MTB cassettes only
• Swap drivetrain standards without buying a new hub

Micro Spline without compromise

Race Face worked around Micro Spline's tight geometry to fit the same large bearings used in its other Vault cassette bodies, so a Shimano 12-speed Vault keeps the durability of the HG and XD versions.

Fitting and care

Our workshop can fit the new body and service the hub while it's apart; fitting is a separate workshop service. Torque the cassette lock ring to 40 Nm. Race Face notes that small dents from the cogs in the splines of an alloy body are normal.

Compatibility & fit

Fits Race Face Vault rear hubs (J421, J422 and J424). It doesn't fit Trace hubs, which use their own cassette bodies.

Sizes & options

Choose the cassette standard; every option fits every Vault rear hub.
