Quarq's DZero uses strain gauges bonded directly to the spider to capture torque at each quadrant of the pedal stroke. OmniCal automatically adjusts for chainring changes without re-calibration. The CR2032 battery is user-replaceable in seconds and lasts for hundreds of hours of riding.
