Swap gearing on a Praxis road crank without replacing the spider. X-Rings mount to the Praxis X-Spider, and because every Praxis X-Ring set shares its 4-bolt 160/104BCD pattern, anything from 48/32 to 53/39 fits the same spider.

LevaTime II
For LT2, Praxis moved the big ring to a thicker 5 mm plate so it could forge in more shift features, plus new fast-engaging forged shift pins. Praxis says its X-Rings shift well with Shimano, SRAM and Campagnolo 10/11/12-speed chains and drivetrains.
Check the 12-speed marking
Praxis marks its 12-speed-compatible LT2 rings "10/11/12sp" on the big ring and notes that earlier production marked "10/11sp" is not 12-speed compatible. If you run 12-speed, ask us to confirm the marking on the set you're ordering.
Fitting
Fitting is a separate workshop service and isn't included in the price. X-Rings mount to the spider with M8 male threaded chainring bolts (Praxis's X-Ring 2x bolt kit is 8 bolts, torqued to 8-10 Nm). The Tune workshop can swap the rings, reset your front derailleur for the new sizes and torque everything to spec.
Compatibility & fit
- Praxis X-Spider only: Praxis 3-bolt direct mount road cranks fitted with an X-Spider, or the spider from a LevaTime II X-Kit.
- Not for 5-arm 110BCD or 130BCD spiders; see Praxis's Buzz, Buzz Sport and Aero sets for those.
- Shimano, SRAM and Campagnolo 10/11/12-speed on rings marked "10/11/12sp".

Praxis warrants its components to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 2 years from the original purchase date, for the original owner. Normal wear and tear isn't covered, and for chainrings Praxis lists tooth wear and the anodised or coated finish wearing off as wear. Damage from crashes, impact, incorrect installation (including the wrong tools) or modification is also excluded.
This cover is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Keep your proof of purchase. For warranty support, return the product to Tune Cycles and we'll manage the claim with Praxis's Australian distributor.
