Two small direct mount rings for 3-bolt direct mount MTB cranks, both with Praxis's DMA 3 mm offset: a 28T Wave Tech alloy ring for low climbing gears, and a 30T steel ring for longer wear.

Chainline
DMA is Praxis's code for the 3 mm offset. On Gen2 Praxis MTN direct mount cranks it gives a 52 mm Boost chainline; on older Gen1 Praxis MTN cranks it gives 49 mm (non-Boost). On other brands' cranks the result depends on that crank, so check it against your frame, or ask us, before you order.
Wave Tech set-up
Wave Tech is Praxis's earlier 1x tooth profile. Praxis's guide says to align the chain with the icon on the Wave ring when fitting, or it won't sit down on the teeth correctly. Use a clutch rear derailleur, and an upper chain guide is recommended in very rough terrain.
Fitting
Fitting is a separate workshop service and isn't included in the price. Direct mount rings fit with T25 Torx bolts at 9 Nm on a clean, greased interface. The Tune workshop can fit the ring, set the chain up correctly on a Wave ring and check chain length.

- MTB cranks with the 3-bolt direct mount interface, such as Praxis and SRAM MTB direct mount cranks.
- Shimano mechanical and Di2, and SRAM mechanical and AXS, 10/11/12-speed.

Praxis warrants its components to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 2 years from the original purchase date, for the original owner. Normal wear and tear isn't covered, and for chainrings Praxis lists tooth wear and the anodised or coated finish wearing off as wear. Damage from crashes, impact, incorrect installation (including the wrong tools) or modification is also excluded.
This cover is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Keep your proof of purchase. For warranty support, return the product to Tune Cycles and we'll manage the claim with Praxis's Australian distributor.
