The O-ring on the non-drive cup of a Praxis collet (conversion) bottom bracket takes up small differences in frame shell width. If yours has worn out, this is the replacement part.

Where it goes

It fits on the non-drive side cup only. The drive cup uses a separate two-piece collet (a plastic spacer and a rubber expanding elastomer), which Praxis sells as its own part.

Fitting

Fitting is a separate workshop service and isn't included in the price. Refitting a press-in bottom bracket needs the right bearing press and BB tools; the Tune workshop can inspect the cups and bearings, fit the new O-ring and reinstall the bottom bracket.

Praxis warrants its components to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 2 years from the original purchase date, for the original owner. Praxis lists the rubber O-ring for frame width variance as a normal wear-and-tear item, so wear from use isn't covered, nor is damage from incorrect installation or the wrong tools.
