Scorpion Blacksting is Pirelli's fast-rolling gravity tyre for hardpack and compact terrain, where rolling efficiency and precise handling make the difference. This HardWALL Medium version with the silver hotpatch comes in 29 x 2.4, 29 x 2.6 and 27.5 x 2.6.

Tread
Low-profile, closely packed knobs with reinforced shoulders minimise rolling resistance while keeping braking stable and predictable on firm ground. Best for rocky, fast and precise lines in dry conditions; the ride feel is fast and responsive. Run it as a complete set for high-speed trail riding, or pair it with a Scorpion Emperor in mixed set-ups.
HardWALL casing
HardWALL is a reinforced 60 TPI casing with bead-to-bead protection and a hard rubber insert above the bead. It gives solid support at low pressure, resists pinch flats and is built for aggressive trail and enduro riding.
Medium compound
Medium balances grip, rolling efficiency, comfort and mileage. Ideal for all-round trail and enduro use.

Compatibility & fit
Pirelli's tech sheet specifies a 30C rim for all sizes in this range and marks the range tubeless ready and e-MTB ready. 29in sizes fit 622 wheels and 27.5in sizes fit 584 wheels; check frame and fork clearance, particularly for 2.6in widths. Casing, compound and edition are the same across all sizes; weight changes with size. Tyre fitting and tubeless set-up are available as a separate workshop service; they are not included in the price.
Pirelli cycling tyres and inner tubes are covered against defects in materials and workmanship. This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Normal wear, cuts and punctures are not manufacturing defects.
