Polymer-coated shift cable set

Shift quality fades long before a cable snaps. The OT-RS900 set replaces both the inner cables and the outer casing with Shimano's polymer-coated system, which cuts friction through the run and brings back the crisp, light shift the bike had when it was new.

Why replace the whole set

Polymer-coated inners only deliver their low friction when run through matched outer casing in good condition. Replacing inners into old, contaminated outers throws away most of the benefit, which is why Shimano supplies these as a set.

Shimano warrants this product against defects in materials and workmanship. Cables and outer casing are wear items: fraying, stretch, contamination, corrosion and loss of coating through normal use are not covered, and neither is damage from incorrect installation, cutting or routing.
