Measurement where you push

The strain gauges live in the spindle, close to where force goes in. An embedded gyroscope reads angular velocity through the pedal stroke to calculate instantaneous power, and temperature compensation keeps readings consistent as conditions change.

More than watts

As well as power and cadence, the P715 reports left/right balance, torque effectiveness, pedalling smoothness, power phase and riding position, so you can find and fix a weaker leg or an inefficient stroke.

Light and weatherproof

A composite carbon fibre body on a precipitation-hardened stainless steel spindle keeps each pedal to 157g. IPX7 water resistance and a -20°C to 50°C operating range cover wet winter rides, and a full charge takes about 3 hours.

Compatibility & fit

Uses Look KEO cleats (not included). Installs like a standard road pedal with a pedal wrench, and crank washers are supplied. Connects over ANT+ (unlimited devices) and Bluetooth (one device at a time) to bike computers, watches and training apps. Automatic and manual calibration, with crank length set in the app or head unit. Magene also makes an SPD-SL version (P715S). Power-meter pedal fitting and set-up with your head unit is available from our workshop as a separate service, not included in the price.
