The Lazer Z1 KinetiCore AS is a featherweight race-day road helmet that delivers best-in-class ventilation and integrated rotational impact protection — now bundled with the Aeroshell polycarbonate cover for year-round versatility. KinetiCore technology

Unlike add-on MIPS liners, KinetiCore integrates controlled-crumple blocks directly into the EPS foam. On impact, these zones compress in a controlled way to redirect rotational energy away from the brain — the same principle that earned Lazer's top 5-star safety rating in independent testing. The result is lighter total weight and a cleaner internal profile with no extra plastic liner to chafe.

Aeroshell versatility

The included Z1 KinetiCore Aeroshell is a lightweight polycarbonate shell that snaps over the front and sides of the helmet. Use it on wet winter days to shed rain and mud, or clip it on before a criterium to cut drag through the field. It attaches and detaches without tools and is sized specifically to the Z1 KinetiCore.
