The Lazer Vento KinetiCore is Lazer's fastest road helmet — built for riders who want genuine aerodynamic performance without sacrificing safety or comfort. With built-in KinetiCore rotational impact protection, a 13-vent Venturi ventilation system, and an ultra-light 290g construction, the Vento is engineered to go fast and keep you protected doing it. This is the matte white colourway in size Small (52–56 cm), Australian Standards certified.

Highlights

  • KinetiCore rotational protection: Controlled crumple zones are integrated directly into the EPS liner to absorb both direct and rotational impact forces — no add-on layer, no extra weight.
  • 13-vent Venturi ventilation: A Venturi Effect system draws cool air in through the front and expels warm air out the rear for effective cooling even at high speeds.
  • Aero-optimised shell: Designed for a 15° sprint position, the Vento reduces frontal surface area to cut drag where it matters most.
  • Lightweight at 290g: Uses 90g less plastic than its predecessor while maintaining full structural integrity — lighter on your head, lower environmental footprint.
  • ScrollSys fit system: Dial-adjust belt technology lets you fine-tune the fit on the move for a precise, secure hold.
  • Virginia Tech 5-Star rated: Independently awarded "Best Available" status in Virginia Tech's STAR helmet safety ratings.
  • Australian Standards certified: Meets AS/NZS safety standards, making it road-legal throughout Australia and New Zealand.

KinetiCore technology

Most helmets manage rotational impact by adding a separate MIPS liner or slip-plane layer. KinetiCore takes a different approach: Lazer engineers controlled crumple zones directly into the EPS foam structure of the helmet itself. These zones deform in a controlled way on impact, redirecting rotational energy away from the brain. The result is a helmet that's lighter than MIPS-equipped alternatives, uses fewer materials, and delivers protection that's built in — not bolted on.

Ventilation & aerodynamics

The Vento's 13 ports work as a system. Scooped front inlets capture airflow and a Venturi Effect channels it through internal passages before expelling hot air out the rear. The shell's low-profile, aero-forward silhouette is tuned to a 15° head angle — the natural sprint position — delivering meaningful time savings on flat and rolling terrain without the discomfort of a fully enclosed aero lid.

Fit & sizing

This listing is for size Small, fitting head circumferences of 52–56 cm. The ScrollSys dial allows on-the-fly micro-adjustments so the helmet stays firmly in place from warm-up to finish line. A floating front headband increases airflow across the forehead. Refer to the Lazer sizing guide to confirm your fit before purchase.
