Protection that's built in
KinetiCore is moulded directly into the EPS liner as a series of engineered crumple zones. In a crash these blocks buckle and collapse, absorbing direct impacts while also managing the rotational forces that can be transferred to your brain. There's no separate slip-liner to add weight or bulk, so you get advanced protection in a light, simple package.
Dialled-in fit and comfort
The TurnSys retention system lets you fine-tune circumference with a textured dial and adjust the cradle height to suit your head, locking the helmet in place over rough ground. The magnetic buckle clicks shut with one hand, even in gloves, and eyewear recesses relieve pressure from sunglasses arms.
Made for the trail
An adjustable visor pushes up or down to block sun, rain and low branches without narrowing your field of view, while the no-slip grip on the shell holds your goggles in position when you stow them up front. Twenty-one vents with internal channelling move air across your head on long, hot climbs.
Compatibility & fit
This is a size Medium helmet, fitting head circumferences of 55-59cm. It carries CE and CPSC safety certifications. The rear of the helmet takes a universal Lazer LED light via a Velcro mount (sold separately), and is compatible with the Lazer Advanced TurnSys Winter Kit for cold-weather riding (sold separately).
Lazer provides a one-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of original purchase, extendable to two years (24 months) by registering the helmet with Lazer. A defective helmet will be repaired or replaced at Lazer's discretion.
Lazer also runs a Crash Replacement Program: any Lazer helmet damaged in a crash within three years of purchase qualifies for a 50% discount on a replacement. As with all helmets, a Coyote KinetiCore that has taken any impact should be replaced immediately, and helmets should generally be replaced every few years even without a crash.
