Protection built into the structure
Rather than adding a separate liner, Lazer builds KinetiCore directly into the helmet. Controlled crumple zones in the EPS foam deform under impact to absorb energy, and the design is engineered to help manage the rotational forces that can occur in an angled crash. The Coyote earned a 5-star rating in Virginia Tech's independent helmet testing program.
Comfort and fit on the trail
The TurnSys retention system lets you fine-tune both the circumference and the vertical height of the cradle with a single dial, so the helmet sits where you want it. With 21 vents channelling air across your head, you stay cooler on long climbs, and the magnetic chin buckle makes strapping in quick and glove-friendly.
Made for goggles and sunglasses
The visor adjusts up or down on the move to keep sun, rain and low branches at bay, and a no-slip grip on the shell holds your goggles in place when they are parked on the front. Recesses in the shell take the pressure off sunglass arms for an easier all-day wear. A rear velcro mount accepts a compatible LED light so you can stay visible.
Compatibility & fit
This listing is the XL size in Matte Black, suiting head circumferences of approximately 61 to 64cm. Measure around your head about 2.5cm above your eyebrows; if you fall between sizes, the smaller size is generally the better choice. This helmet carries CE (EN 1078) and CPSC certification.
Lazer helmets are covered by a manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months from the date of purchase, which can be extended to 24 months by registering the helmet with Lazer. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, crash damage, or damage from misuse.
Lazer also runs a Crash Replacement Program: a helmet damaged in a crash within three years of purchase may be eligible for a discount toward a replacement.
A bicycle helmet is designed to absorb a single significant impact and should be replaced after any crash, even if no damage is visible.
