KinetiCore Technology

KinetiCore is Lazer's fully integrated rotational impact protection system. Rather than adding a separate slip-plane liner, controlled crumple zones are moulded directly into the EPS foam shell. On impact, these zones compress and flex to absorb and redirect both linear and rotational forces — the same forces linked to concussion and brain injury. The result is a lighter, lower-profile helmet that doesn't compromise on protection.

Construction

The Chase KC is built around a polycarbonate and fiberglass composite outer shell bonded to an EPS foam inner, with nylon reinforcement at structural points. At approximately 990 g (size M), it's meaningfully lighter than traditional downhill lids, making it a realistic all-day option for enduro and trail riding. The design is compatible with most neck braces for riders who want the extra protection.

Compatibility & Fit

Size XL fits a head circumference of 60–62 cm (23⅝–24⅖ in). Measure around the widest part of your head, just above the ears, before ordering. Available in XS through XL. Certified to ASTM F1952 (downhill), CPSC, CE (EN 1078) and AS/NZS standards. Always replace a helmet after any significant impact, even if no visible damage is present.
