Construction
The Cage KC shell combines lightweight fiberglass with carbon fibre reinforcements and a carbon chin bar — giving you a strong, impact-resistant structure without unnecessary weight. KinetiCore crumple zones are integrated directly into the EPS foam liner, which means no separate rotational liner to compress or shift during a crash.
Certifications
The Cage KinetiCore holds CPSC, CE/EN 1078, and ASTM F1952 DH certification — the downhill standard specifically tests the chin bar and requires helmets to manage a higher level of impact energy than standard cycling certifications. The helmet also earned a Virginia Tech 5-star safety rating.
