The KS Southpaw Reverse is the reverse cable-direction version of KS's Southpaw, a dedicated 1x under-bar dropper remote from the family KS describes as one of the first and best performing of its kind. This version mounts straight to Shimano I-Spec EV, so there's no separate bar clamp.

Built around the 1x cockpit

Southpaw uses a universal lever body that mates to different mounting perches, so KS offers it for a 22.2mm bar clamp, SRAM MatchMaker X, Shimano I-Spec II and Shimano I-Spec EV. The lever position adjusts to suit your thumb, and the sealed cartridge bearing keeps the action light and consistent while keeping out dirt, dust and moisture.

Reverse cable direction

This is the Southpaw Reverse, set up so the cable barrel (bud) can sit at either end of the cable run, at the lever or at the post. A standard Southpaw is also available. Choose the one that suits how your dropper's cable is anchored; if you're unsure, our workshop can check before you order.

Compatibility & fit

KS says all its remotes are compatible with all KS droppers, so it suits any cable-actuated KS post, and KS remotes generally work with other brands' droppers that use a 10mm cable pull. It runs the standard KS dropper cable: a 1mm inner cable in 5mm housing. KS supports the I-Spec EV mount with Shimano components only and doesn't guarantee fit with other third-party parts. Dropper post fitting and remote and cable setup is a separate workshop service; our workshop can fit the lever, run the cable and set up your post.
