The KS KG Drop 1.0 brings dropper post control to drop-bar bikes. Its slim single paddle sits on a low-profile clamp under the bar tape and can be reached from the hoods or the drops, opening up dropper posts to gravel, cyclocross and touring bikes.

KS designed the KG Drop around drop-bar ergonomics and says it's compatible with virtually any drop-bar multi-control lever system. The hinged clamp sits low and disappears under the tape, and a sealed cartridge bearing gives a lighter, more responsive lever action.

Compatibility & fit

The KG Drop 1.0 uses the traditional cable mounting direction, with the cable barrel end at the lever, and mounts on the left side of the bar only. KS says all its remotes are compatible with all KS droppers, so it suits any cable-actuated KS post, and KS remotes generally work with other brands' droppers that use a 10mm cable pull. It runs the standard KS dropper cable: a 1mm inner cable in 5mm housing. Dropper post fitting and remote and cable setup is a separate workshop service; our workshop can fit the lever under your bar tape, run the cable and set up your post.
