Simple fitting

The Shotgun seat fits with an allen key and takes about 3 to 4 minutes to fit, remove or swap between bikes, with no bike modifications. Thick rubber padding sits between the seat and the frame, and Kids Ride Shotgun rates it for carbon or alloy frames.

Adjustable to fit

Leg width, angle and saddle position adjust to get the right fit on your bike and for your child.

Compatibility & fit

• Child: Kids Ride Shotgun lists the Shotgun seat for children weighing 12 to 27kg, recommended age 2 to 5 years.
• Bike: the seat mounts on the adult's bike. It fits almost all modern non-electric mountain bikes with front suspension, single or dual suspension, including steep, sloping or tapered top tubes and carbon frames.
• Not suitable for: electric bikes, or bikes without front suspension such as road, gravel and some hybrid bikes; beach cruisers; step-through or single-tube frames; and older mountain bikes with brake cables running along the top or side of the top tube.
