Why a cone wrench

Hub cones sit tight against the locknut with very little room, and a regular spanner is simply too thick to fit. Cone wrenches are thin enough to slip in, so you can hold the cone at the right bearing preload while you lock it in place. Many jobs need two wrenches at once, and because the cone and locknut are usually different sizes, one full set covers most hubs.

Hub bearing adjustment is a routine job in our workshop if you'd rather we set it up.
