Built for privateer enduro and downhill racing, this 29" Hope Fortus 30 rear wheel pairs a triple-cavity 30mm rim with Hope's Pro 5 hub, machine built and hand finished in Barnoldswick, England.

Strength where it counts

The triple-cavity rim is 23mm deep and 35mm wide externally, giving the strength racers need to keep a wheel straight through rough tracks. The 32-hole J-bend build uses Black Sapim Race double-butted stainless spokes and silver brass nipples.

Hub

The Pro 5 hub gives 108 points of engagement, a zero-drag labyrinth seal and a step-down axle for a stiffer freehub, and it's fully serviceable with simple tools.

Compatibility & fit

Built with 142x12mm end caps and supplied with a conversion kit to suit 148mm Boost frames; our workshop can fit the conversion for you. Fits SRAM XD-driver cassettes. Recommended tyre width 2.4"–2.8", maximum pressure 55 psi. Tyre fitting and tubeless set-up are separate workshop services – book a workshop appointment.

Hope covers its components for two years from the original date of purchase against manufacturer defects in materials and workmanship. Damage caused by misuse, or by not following the recommendations in the manual, is not covered. For warranty support, return the item to Tune Cycles with your proof of purchase and we'll manage the claim for you. This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
