An e-bike motor puts far more load through a chainring than your legs ever will. Hope's R22 e-bike ring mounts straight to your Brose motor in place of the stock spider, giving you a lighter, cleaner and tougher drive CNC machined in one piece from billet.

Made for motor torque

The R22 tooth profile is engineered to work across modern drivetrains, sheds mud better, holds the chain more securely and copes with extreme chain angles on 1x set-ups. It also tolerates more chain wear before shifting suffers, so it lasts longer. The spiderless legs are redesigned for extra strength and stiffness.

Compatibility & fit

Hope's Brose version fits the Specialized Turbo Levo range of motors (Brose-based), at a 52mm Boost chainline. Hope notes its e-bike rings are not compatible with the Gen 5 motor. Removing the stock ring needs Park Tool BBT-18 or equivalent, plus a two-arm bearing puller and Brose cap puller to remove the stock spider. Fitting is a separate Tune Cycles workshop service – book a workshop service.

Hope covers its components for two years from the original date of purchase against manufacturer defects in material and workmanship. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse or by not following the instructions in the manual. For warranty support, return the item to Tune Cycles with your proof of purchase and we'll manage the claim for you. This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
