Swap cassette standards or refresh a worn freehub. This Hope Pro 5 freehub assembly has a lightweight aluminium body and Hope's offset 6-pawl mechanism for 108 points of engagement – the fast pickup that made Pro 5 a big step up from Pro 4.

How it works

Aluminium body with Hope's offset 6-pawl design and wire-cut high-strength steel pawls, giving 108 points of engagement. The assembly comes ready to slide onto the hub axle, with its bearings and seal already fitted, so a standard swap is quick on the workbench.

End cap

X12 versions include the drive-side end cap for 12mm thru-axle frames, ready to fit straight onto a thru-axle Pro 5 rear hub. No End Cap versions are supplied without one – keep the end cap from your current freehub, or order the correct end cap for your axle standard separately. HG, XD and XDR bodies share drive-side end caps, but Micro Spline uses its own: changing to or from Micro Spline on a thru-axle hub, choose the X12 End Cap version. Compatibility & fit

For Hope Pro 5 rear hubs only – not Pro 4 or earlier. Choose the body for your cassette, and check your axle standard and end cap before ordering. The body swaps over without special tools (see our Pro 5 hub service guide), or book it in and we fit it at the workshop.
