The Hope Pro 5 E is the eMTB-spec variant of Hope's top-tier rear hub, purpose-built to handle the increased torque demands of electric mountain bikes. A steel freehub body handles the punishment that would fatigue a standard alloy interface, while the rest of the Pro 5 feature set remains intact.

eBikes stress hubs far harder than regular MTBs — higher torque, heavier loads, and more sustained climbing put conventional freehub bodies under pressure. Hope's steel freehub resists the spline notching that can happen with alloy bodies under eBike loads. The rest of the hub draws directly from the Pro 5 platform, including the new sealing and improved pawl geometry.

Fits 148x12mm Boost rear dropouts. Designed for use with compatible eMTB cassette systems on the steel freehub body.
