The Hope Pro 5 E is the eMTB-spec variant of Hope's top-tier rear hub, purpose-built to handle the increased torque demands of electric mountain bikes. A 54-tooth heavy-duty steel freehub body handles the punishment that would fatigue a standard alloy interface, while the rest of the Pro 5 feature set remains intact.

E-bikes stress hubs far harder than regular MTBs — higher torque, heavier loads, and more sustained climbing put conventional freehub bodies under pressure. Hope's steel 54-tooth freehub eliminates the spline deformation that can happen with alloy bodies under e-bike loads. The rest of the hub draws directly from the Pro 5 platform, including the new sealing and improved pawl geometry.
