Compatibility & fit

Frame version: mounts with four screws on seat tubes 28–40 mm; an extra bracket lets you swap bikes and an extra bar suits small frames. The seat flexes up to 12 cm on its steel bar, so it must sit high enough never to touch the wheel, mudguard or rack. Rack version: for racks 120–175 mm wide, rated for 27 kg (ISO 11243) with round tubes 10–20 mm thick. Hamax advises against full-suspension and carbon-framed bikes, and recommends your child always wears a helmet. Fitting is a separate Tune Cycles workshop service – book a workshop visit.
