Keep the bottle and bring the tube. Portaledge XE is a 186 mm alloy plate that goes under your bottle cage and extends past the lower boss, where a strap holds your spares against the frame.

Fit it in three steps

Bolt the plate to your bottle bosses with the long M5 bolts, then bolt your cage on top with the short ones. Thread the strap through the plate with the silicone side out, wrap it around a spare tube, CO2 cartridge and tyre levers, and fasten it through the buckle. Your bottle stays where it was, and your kit rides with it.

Compatibility & fit

Fits standard bottle bosses and needs about 7 x 7 cm of clear frame below the lower boss for the extension and your kit, so check the space on smaller frames before ordering. The bottle cage is not included. No bottle on those bosses? The standard Portaledge is the shorter version.
